The extreme climate here, so you can not put aglaonema out side door, its shoul be indoor plant .Because of this situation its difficult to get new plant with out you help. If your aglaonema has long stem ,you can cut the stems back to about an inch or two from the soil line, new growth will eventually sprout near where you made the cuts (can be slow)<br />The stems of the tops with leaves can be cut back to around 6"-7" or less and can be planted either in a small pot of their own, or plant them back in with the smaller stems left in the pot for a more fuller look. If you just want them separated at any point, just cut the root-ball in sections.<br /><p>I had to do something with mine this year, like yours, the plants were top heavy, more stem than leaves, so I cut the stems back to about an inch, then planted the upper leafy sections (cut down) between the rooted cut ones left in the pot. Now instead of two plants, I'll have four. </p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7173307048534850484.post-85431231876209778132009-01-22T05:39:00.000-08:002009-03-11T05:51:54.403-07:00TYPES OF LEAVES ( RED AGLAONEMA)<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SXh5YOrjhqI/AAAAAAAAAEw/Ee3Ab2lZfbg/s1600-h/Image026.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SXh5YOrjhqI/AAAAAAAAAEw/Ee3Ab2lZfbg/s320/Image026.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5294114819138619042" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SXh5YCzeU1I/AAAAAAAAAEo/kiWYOHYdGHY/s1600-h/Image046.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SXh5YCzeU1I/AAAAAAAAAEo/kiWYOHYdGHY/s320/Image046.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5294114815950607186" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SXh5YFQ4nEI/AAAAAAAAAEg/gVzxPtQuk-0/s1600-h/Image054.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SXh5YFQ4nEI/AAAAAAAAAEg/gVzxPtQuk-0/s320/Image054.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5294114816610835522" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SXh5X-3p2ZI/AAAAAAAAAEY/E6yoX6cO_wo/s1600-h/Image053.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SXh5X-3p2ZI/AAAAAAAAAEY/E6yoX6cO_wo/s320/Image053.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5294114814894397842" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SXh5XSfn9JI/AAAAAAAAAEQ/dOJ-uiyvVoo/s1600-h/Image052.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SXh5XSfn9JI/AAAAAAAAAEQ/dOJ-uiyvVoo/s320/Image052.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5294114802982450322" border="0" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7173307048534850484.post-64328913657001019172008-12-08T11:37:00.000-08:002008-12-08T11:56:13.766-08:00TYPE OF PLANT FOOD<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/ST170Bdd17I/AAAAAAAAADk/7jHDVuAV6S8/s1600-h/Image158.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/ST170Bdd17I/AAAAAAAAADk/7jHDVuAV6S8/s320/Image158.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5277510472023529394" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/ST16_l3Ww1I/AAAAAAAAADc/stP3f09Lfa8/s1600-h/Image159.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/ST16_l3Ww1I/AAAAAAAAADc/stP3f09Lfa8/s320/Image159.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5277509571262726994" border="0" /></a><br />Hobby is king.In the world every body has hobby. So many become madly because their hobby.Specially in Indonesia, some collector will spend so much money to get their favourite plant. To make plant become beautiful and healthy, they need also food plant. So many type of food plant you can used.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7173307048534850484.post-81906746872355831362008-11-10T00:29:00.000-08:002008-11-10T00:36:34.608-08:00AGALONEMA RED NANCY<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SRfw_vDbh2I/AAAAAAAAAC0/1qQeZ888kXs/s1600-h/Image008.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5266943266986362722" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_q1nOyBzapF0/SRfw_vDbh2I/AAAAAAAAAC0/1qQeZ888kXs/s320/Image008.jpg" border="0" /></a> I got this aglaonema from my friend in Semarang, name is red nancy.
